Welcome to FitnessHome (the "App" or "we"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a legal agreement between you (an individual user) and FitnessHome regarding your use of the App and related services.
Please read these Terms carefully, especially the sections on disclaimers and limitations of liability. If you are under 18, please read with a parent or legal guardian.
1.1 Service: FitnessHome is a mobile app focused on personal health data management and analysis. Major features include:
- Connecting to smart body composition scales via Bluetooth to read measurements.
- Managing weight, body fat percentage, BMI and related health data locally.
- Providing AI-assisted health, exercise, and nutrition suggestions based on user data.
1.2 Tool nature: The App is primarily a data-management tool. Unless you use specific cloud features (if any), your core health data will be stored locally on your device by default.
2.1 Registration: You may sign up and log in using email, phone number, or third-party accounts (Apple ID / Google). You must ensure the information you provide is accurate.
2.2 Account security: You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Losses caused by improper safekeeping are borne by you.
2.3 Account deletion: You may request account deletion at any time. After deletion, we will handle your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
You agree to comply with applicable laws and shall not:
1. Submit false information or impersonate others.
2. Interfere with the App’s operation, access servers without authorization, or compromise security.
3. Use the App for illegal activities or infringe others’ rights.
We process and protect your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Special note on body composition/body fat data: by default, your raw measurements are stored on your device and are not persistently stored on our servers, unless you use AI features (which require necessary temporary transmission).
5.1 AI advice is for reference only: AI suggestions are generated by AI models (e.g., OpenAI ChatGPT) based on data you provide and are informational in nature.
5.2 Not medical advice: The App does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or professional medical services and does not replace a physician’s opinion.
5.3 Use at your own risk: Before acting on any suggestions, please assess your health conditions. We are not liable for any discomfort, injury, or losses resulting from your reliance on AI advice. If you feel unwell, stop immediately and consult a professional.
6.1 Local data: body composition records are stored in your device storage (AsyncStorage). Uninstalling or clearing app data may permanently remove them; please back up as needed.
6.2 Cloud interaction: only when you use specific features such as AI advice generation, necessary data is transmitted to our servers for processing.
All content included in the App (including but not limited to text, graphics, code, and UI design) is owned by FitnessHome or its licensors. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or use the App for commercial purposes without authorization.
We may update these Terms when necessary. The updated Terms will be published within the App. Continued use of the App after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
